Level 42 live in Italy

Mark King (Level 42)
The only date in Italy for "Level 42" in the event Bordighera Jazz & Blues. " Of course I was there (nonstante some minor setback in the afternoon).
And not for mere nostalgia worn over a band that represents and will represent in my memory music an important time of my life, but because the Level 42 are, in my personal opinion, the perfect mix between keyboards, strings, voices, rhythm and melody. In short: I have always loved them, from their beginnings.
The years pass for everyone but Mark King always manages to create a great atmosphere when his voice strong and unmistakable blends with the elegant falsetto Mike Lindup. Concerto beautiful, enjoyable with all the rhythmic sounds and carpet-based "slapping" and "Prophet 5" that the "Level" have accustomed us.

All of us young with several white hair, we had an appointment that does not magically last night and we stood there, the court Mr me. King.
There was nostalgia in any of the faces that I saw jump and beat his hands on the notes of "Chinese way", there was no regret for the eighties in any of smiles illuminated the spotlight of the stage while listening to "Something about you ".
And this is perhaps the little magic that last night the Level 42 unwittingly given us: Discovering that he had lived a decade unbelievable but it was never taken too seriously. We all like to say, but passed over .. never forget.

I a few years off but I think I will be touched me: I started my raids in the 80s, the years of Wild Boys! :)
Mark King, however, was and remains a great: his was the low round of "80s" for excellence.

Luca are from Pisa, I love the Level 42 from when I was 12 years and until now I never stopped to listen. I was at their concert in Florence in 1991 and unfortunately I lost it in Bordighera. Greetings to all of you fans.
