Il DRM in questione è stato progettato per ridurre la qualità audio e video dei filmati eseguiti su hw non esplicitamente approvato da Microsoft . I DRM sono stati bypassati agendo sul Driver Signing/ protezione PatchGuard del nuovo sistema operativo. The DRM were acting on bypassati Driver Signing / PatchGuard protection of the new operating system.
