La zanzara è al numero uno nella lista delle creature del regno animale più pericolose al mondo. The mosquito is at number one on the list of creatures of the animal kingdom most dangerous in the world. Al secondo posto il Cobra asiatico e solo al quarto posto lo squalo bianco. In second place the Cobra Asian and only the fourth place the great white shark.
Sembra un’assurdità ma la zanzara, a causa del parassiti portatori di malaria e dei microbi che è in grado di trasferire con le sue punture, è responsabile della morte di più di due milioni di persone ogni anno. It seems absurd but the mosquito, because of the carriers of malaria parasites and microbes that is able to transfer with its perforation, is responsible for the deaths of more than two million people every year. A questo si deve aggiungere che è veicolo di trasmissione di malattie non mortali che però colpiscono più di settanta milioni di persone all’anno nel pianeta. To this we must add that it is the vehicle of transmission of disease is not fatal but affect more than seventy million people each year globally. Anche in paesi come Inghilterra, Nuova Zelanda e Giappone, dove il clima temperato ha ridotto la zanzara a poco più che un piccolo fastidio, essa è in grado di causare diversi morti ogni anno.
