Differenze di approccio in tema di customer care in occasione di problemi su due server con caratteristiche pressochè identiche collocati uno in Usa e uno in Italia. In entrambi i casi i problemi sono da ricondurre a mail server “bucati” e crash dovuti a tentativi di intrusione esterni. Sottolineo che anche i contratti di assistenza sono analoghi, nel senso che sia la web farm usa che quella italiana limitano il campo dell’assistenza esclusivamente a problemi hardware. Una differenza sostanziale è però nel costo annuo.. nel senso che il servizio u.s.a. costa un ventiquattresimo di quello italiano.

Gentile cliente, i server da Lei acquistati Le vengono forniti con dei parametri d’accesso unici di cui solo Lei è in possesso. Al momento della conferma del contratto Lei prende atto che l’assistenza che Le viene fornita da Register.it è puramente a livello hardware, mentre tutte le segnalazioni che Le sono state inviate finora da parte dello Staff Abuse che, Le ricordiamo, non si occupa di fornirle assistenza tecnica ma si occupa degli Abusi perpetrati dai propri clienti verso la rete, riguardano esclusivamente problemi sui software che Lei, o chi per Lei, dovrebbe configurare e gestire correttamente.
